Garwood

Garwood is a suburb of New York City with a population of 4,425. Garwood is in Union County and is one of the best places to live in New Jersey. Living in Garwood offers residents a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Garwood there are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many families and young professionals live in Garwood and residents tend to be liberal. The public schools in Garwood are above average.

Mountainside, NJ Mountainside is a beautiful residential town located on the side of the Watchung Mountains. Nearly one-third of the Borough’s approximately four square miles is designated parkland, mostly in the Watchung Reservation in the northwest part of the Borough. Mountainside is bordered to the northwest by Berkeley Heights and Summit, to the northeast by Springfield, Westfield to the south and Scotch Plains to the west. Mountainside was formed from portions of Westfield and was incorporated as a borough in 1895. In 2010, Mountainside was ranked by New Jersey Monthly magazine as the eighth best place to live in the state. The Borough of Mountainside is governed by the Mayor/Council form of local government. Mountainside has a six member borough council and the mayor is directly elected by the voters.

  • The Arc Kohler School (children aged 3-14 with developmental delays and disabilities)
